Why discontinue eating the food you love when you don’t have to if you only consume half of it. Whilst you may think you are still hungry, don’t forget that it takes 20 minutes for your stomach to tell your brain that you have had enough. Reducing your fat and calorie intake is easy when you think before you eat.

Potato chips should only be consumed on special occasions. Choose the large cut chip rather than the shoestring variety. Because of it’s density, thicker cut chips don’t have as much fat as the thinner cut chips. By choosing the oven fry chips you are making a healthy choice. The healthy way for dieters is not to cook in oil.

Water before meals has been shown to help with lower food intake. Daily fluid intake is important regardless of whether or not you are dieting.

When eating away from home with others, volunteering to be the designated driver will lower your calorie intake. Not drinking alcohol now and again will only help you to achieve your weight loss goal. Alcohol has many empty calories. By not drinking any alcohol, you will be less tempted to snack on things you shouldn’t.
Weight loss Tip 5
A snack you might never associate with weight loss is nuts. Nuts are high in protein, which curbs your hunger. A small handful is all you should eat at a time. Just don’t over eat them and try to only eat the unsalted variety if you can.
